Linda Tran
The only daughter to a Vietnamese mother and Chinese father, Linda Tran was a first-generation American, of mixed Asian heritage, brought up in a very loving household that held education and independence in high regard.
She was an honor roll student, sat on the Student Council board, beat the boys in sports and received her first varsity letter as a freshman in high school.Growing up in Las Vegas, Nevada, Linda wasn’t all work and no play. Outside of academics, she basked in the glow of the Vegas nightlife with the help of her fake ID and older friends. At an early age she was experiencing all the craziness of Sin City, hanging out in high rollers’ hotel suites and sipping drinks in the VIP rooms of her favorite nightclubs.
After graduating high school with honors, Ms. Tran decided to give modeling a try. She wasn’t “discovered” by anyone. Instead, she took the initiative to put a portfolio together on her own and approach different agencies. It was a smart move. She gained representation in Las Vegas as well as Los Angeles. A variety of jobs came her way.
Linda soon moved to New York to begin school and found Manhattan to be full of exciting opportunities. She has since sashayed down runways, flown overseas for photo shoots, appeared in films, commercials, magazines, catalogs and calendars, partied at the Playboy Mansion, and co-hosted her own weekly Internet radio show.
