Before Tila Tequila became the #1 MySpace girl and a supreme hot mess on reality TV, she was the aspiring model Tila Nguyen – and quite the pinup cutie pie. The guys at modFX knew talent when they saw it and featured her on several occasions, including this classic patio teaser gallery.

She’s come along way. From Singapore to Houston to LA .. and back to the entire world.

Photos like these lead to covers on Stuff, Maxim, and Rolling Stone. Okay, we’re sure her online and television antics has something to do with it as well. But who knew that this sweet looking thing would go on to become (among other things) the 2008 Bravo A-List recipient for A-List Drama Queen? Just goes to show you never know where a path will lead you.
